That difference helps to explain why we can\u2019t grasp everything that God communicates with us. It&#8217;s characterized by the fact that \u201cthe radiance is dimmed\u201d and less lustrous than we would need it to be, given that \u201cit has to pass through the face itself\u201d which dims it. \u00a0But, why is that so? Because the thrust \u201cof (God\u2019s) governance that\u2019s revealed to us is only the part of it that\u2019s revealed after the Line has been engarbed in the Trace\u201d.
