Our next area of concentration, based on Petach 33,<\/em> is that of the four numerical variations of the Tetragrammaton known as \u201cAV<\/em>\u201d, \u201cSaG<\/em>\u201d, \u201cMaH<\/em>\u201d and \u201cBaN<\/em>\u201d<\/strong> first revealed through Adam<\/em> Kadmon<\/em><\/strong> and which function on various levels. We\u2019ve explained this on a very basic level before (see here<\/a>, etc.).<\/p>\n

Ramchal makes a number of other, rather complex, points here about these names which we\u2019ll try to elucidate. First, that AV<\/em> corresponds to the <\/strong>level of Chochma<\/em> of Adam Kadmon<\/em><\/strong>, and he then goes on to explain how it emanates its light. He then discusses SaG<\/em><\/strong>, <\/strong>which corresponds to the level of Binah<\/em> of Adam<\/em> Kadmon<\/em> and how it functions; then he speaks of the combination of the two in the formation of \u201cvessels\u201d, and the roles that MaH<\/em> and BaN<\/em><\/strong>, <\/em>which correspond to the levels of Zeir Anpin <\/em>and Nukveh<\/em> respectively of Adam<\/em> Kadmon<\/em>, play.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll discuss Ari\u2019s vision of this, Ramchal\u2019s statement of what\u2019s envisioned and what it means, as well as other things Ramchal cites in his own comments to this Petach<\/em>.<\/p>\n
