Ramchal presents us with a couple of vital over-arching remarks in his comments to Petach<\/em> 33, one of which touches upon all the Partzufim, Sephirot, <\/em>and Olamot<\/em>, which is to say, upon all of reality itself, and another which explains a vital detail about Adam Kadmon<\/em> in its entirety.<\/p>\n

As to the former, he says that \u201cthe truth is that all the levels discussed in Kabbalah, from the beginning of Adam<\/em> Kadmon<\/em> to the end of all of Assiyah<\/em> (the lowest world) are bound up with each other and develop from each other. The (major) difference between them is that higher levels are more concealed than the ones lower ones because things move from a state of concealment to one of revelation, but (the point still needs to be made that) all are one interconnected chain\u201d. And so, for example, \u201ceverything that will eventually be revealed in the form of the lights of SaG<\/em> where initially concealed in the lights of AV <\/em>(which preceded it)\u201d and the same goes for other such interconnected phenomena.<\/p>\n

And he says in regard to the latter that \u201cR\u2019 Chaim Vital wrote that even though we use the terms \u2018ear\u2019 and \u2018eyes\u2019 in the context of Adam<\/em> Kadmon<\/em>, this is only \u2026 \u00a0to give us a faint indication of something that\u2019s intrinsically beyond our grasp [1]. For these terms only actually apply where the light relates to the lower realms\u2026. whereas here above (in the very highest realms) the use of these terms is purely figurative inasmuch as this is the place of the root<\/em> of the phenomena below\u201d. That\u2019s to say that \u2018seeing\u2019, \u2018hearing\u2019, etc. are only ideational — \u201ctheoretical\u201d — in Adam Kadmon<\/em>. We extrapolate their functions and makeup from the lower realms in which they actually<\/em> function [2], but these phenomena don\u2019t actually function in the lofty and recondite realm of Adam Kadmon<\/em>.<\/p>\n
