Given the <\/strong>correlation of parts we spoke of before, we can now understand Ramchal\u2019s statement in Petach<\/em> 33 (along with our extrapolations from it) that AV<\/em><\/strong> corresponds to the <\/strong>level of Chochma<\/em> of Adam Kadmon<\/em><\/strong>; SaG<\/em><\/strong> corresponds to the level of Binah<\/em> there; and MaH<\/em> and BaN<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>correspond to the levels of Zeir Anpin <\/em>and Nukveh<\/em> respectively.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s see how Ramchal expands upon all this (and what we\u2019d spoken of above) in Sefer<\/em> HaIlan<\/em> (1:3-4) [1].<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first (world) is Adam Kadmon<\/em>. Four \u2018senses\u2019 emit from its \u2018face\u2019: that of \u2018seeing\u2019, of \u2018hearing\u2019, of \u2018smell\u2019, and of \u2018speech\u2019. The four letters of the Tetragrammaton (which) are (also elements of) four expanded forms (known as) AV<\/em>, SaG<\/em>, MaH<\/em>, and BaN<\/em> as well as the (configurations of the) tropes, vowels, \u2018crowns\u2019, and letters, are all interconnected (and are all represnted in Adam<\/em> Kadmon<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\u201cAV<\/em> is located in (Adam Kadmon<\/em>\u2019s) \u2018cranium\u2019. Its elements are hidden, but it emits them from the \u2018hair\u2019 on (Adam Kadmon<\/em>\u2019s) \u2018head\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cSaG<\/em> emits from (its) \u2018ears\u2019\u00a0and below. (SaG<\/em>\u2019s) tropes (i.e., its own AV<\/em>) is divided into three aspects: upper, middle, and lower. Its upper aspect is (centered in) the \u2018ears\u2019, its middle aspect is (centered in) the \u2018nose\u2019, and its lower aspect is (centered in) the \u2018mouth\u2019\u201d [2].<\/p>\n

It gets more complex after that, as we\u2019ll see.<\/p>\n
