{"id":1340,"date":"2012-08-15T10:36:31","date_gmt":"2012-08-15T14:36:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ramchal.wordpress.com\/?p=1340"},"modified":"2012-08-15T10:36:31","modified_gmt":"2012-08-15T14:36:31","slug":"ramchal-on-all-not-being-right-with-the-world-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rabbiyaakovfeldman.aishdas.org\/ramchal\/2012\/08\/15\/ramchal-on-all-not-being-right-with-the-world-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Ramchal on all not being right with the world (4)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>He spoke a great deal about <em>rah<\/em> in <em>Da\u2019at<\/em> <em>Tevunot<\/em> (96-133), where he touches upon <em>rah<\/em> and man\u2019s place in undoing it; on the fact that <em>rah<\/em> was a created, i.e., un-Godly, phenomenon; on the fact that while He created it God doesn\u2019t fully \u201cfeed\u201d (i.e., have His emanations freely flow upon) <em>rah <\/em>&#8212; only enough to allow for its existence; on its being a symptom of God\u2019s hidden-ness and withdrawal, and a result of His not yet revealing His <em>Yichud<\/em>; on its eventual undoing; on its role in the workings of the Afterlife as well as reward and punishment; on Adam and Eve\u2019s role in its role in the universe; on <em>rah<\/em>\u2019s effects on the world and on humankind; on the Jewish Nation\u2019s specific relation to <em>rah<\/em> as well as the role of the righteous; and much more.<\/p>\n<p>He spoke of <em>rah<\/em> in more arcane terms in <em>Sefer Kina\u2019ot Adonai Tziva\u2019ot<\/em> in terms of exile and redemption; he reintroduced the idea of its being undone in <em>Peirush La\u2019Arimit Yadi b\u2019Tzalutin<\/em>; and he expanded upon these and related themes here, in <em>Klach Pitchei Chochma.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>But all of this will take us far too afield.
