{"id":1343,"date":"2012-08-20T12:28:46","date_gmt":"2012-08-20T16:28:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ramchal.wordpress.com\/?p=1343"},"modified":"2012-08-20T12:28:46","modified_gmt":"2012-08-20T16:28:46","slug":"ramchal-on-all-of-this-in-klach-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rabbiyaakovfeldman.aishdas.org\/ramchal\/2012\/08\/20\/ramchal-on-all-of-this-in-klach-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Ramchal on all of this in Klach (1)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re told that <strong>the existence of <\/strong>all the world\u2019s <strong>flaws and<\/strong> of their immediate and ultimate <strong>repair<\/strong> <strong>is rooted in the issue of \u201cThe Breaking of the Vessels\u201d <\/strong>(<em>Petach <\/em>37)<strong>, <\/strong>which occurred within the <em>Sephirot<\/em> of the world of <em>Nikkudim<\/em> that we depicted in detail above.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s the difference, though, between the world of <em>Nikkudim<\/em> and the ones that followed: <em>Atzilut<\/em>, etc., all the way down to the universe we know and experience? And what\u2019s the source of the state of \u201crepair\u201d he refers to here?<\/p>\n<p>As Ramchal put it, \u201cThis is \u2026 how <em>Atzilut<\/em> developed: The Supreme Will began to design it above in His \u2018mind\u2019. And while it was <em>beginning<\/em> to take shape (and hadn\u2019t yet come into existence)\u2026 the lights of <em>Nikkudim<\/em> emerged\u2026. <em>Afterwards<\/em> the design for <em>Atzilut<\/em> was complete, and it emerged in all the beauty of its intrinsic form, all of which is the state of <em>Tikkun<\/em> (i.e., repair) which we\u2019ll discuss below\u201d (comments to <em>Petach<\/em> 36).<\/p>\n<p>In other words, another realm existed for a limited time before the cosmos came about &#8212; that is, before the supernal worlds of <em>Atzilut<\/em>, etc. that preceded the reality that we now know and experience came about. That temporary realm is termed the world of <em>Nikkudim<\/em>, and it was the arena in which the whole drama of the Breaking of the Vessels took place.
