But <\/b>as we began to address above, all of this <\/b>— the whole phenomenon of \u201csorrow\u201d and enmity turning to \u201csweetness\u201d and \u201cbrotherly love\u201d among Zeir<\/i> Anpin\u2019s<\/i> Sephirot<\/i>— was accomplished through <\/b>the agency of Malchut<\/b><\/i>, as Ramchal points out in Petach<\/i> 52. As Malchut<\/i>\u00a0 was established to be the container for all of them<\/b>, i.e., for the Sephirot <\/i>of Chessed, Gevurah, Tipheret, Netzach, Hod, <\/i>and Yesod <\/i>that lie above it, so that instead of each light functioning separately, they\u2019d all head in one direction<\/b>, i.e., toward Malchut<\/i>, <\/i>and a connection would then be established between them.<\/b><\/p>\n
Here\u2019s how Ramchal explains it in his comments here. \u201cThe underlying principle is that Imma<\/i> will only rest upon Zeir<\/i> Anpin<\/i> when Nukveh<\/i> is joined to the latter, as Nukveh<\/i> is the root of the recipients\u201d [1]. That is, since Nukveh<\/i> is the lowest spiritual realm, and is thus the most proximate one to the lower realms that receive their sustenance from above, Imma<\/i> will only interact with Zeir<\/i> Anpin<\/i> when Nukveh<\/i> is connected with it. Once that occurs, \u201ceverything is then full of joy and radiant excitement\u201d.<\/p>\n
The point is that Imma<\/i>\u2019s gift of \u201csweetness\u201d and \u201cbrotherly love\u201d could only reign only after the Sephirot<\/i> of Zeir Anpin<\/i> were purposefully joined to Nukveh<\/i>, which is itself joined to the lower realms. As, \u201cthe Supreme Imma<\/i> closes or opens the gates (of blessing and accord) according to how ready the Nukveh<\/i> is for Zeir Anpin<\/i>\u201d, as Ramchal offers in his comments; and\u201cthis shows that the essential makeup of creation — how everything is directed only towards those in the lower world”.<\/p>\n
