We\u2019re concerned here with Partzuf<\/em> Attik<\/em>, given that Attik<\/em> is the first Partzuf<\/em> attributed to Atzilut<\/em>. <\/strong>We learn that It is <\/strong>in fact the Malchut<\/em> of Adam<\/em> Kadmon<\/em>, it extends <\/strong>outward with the repairs that Adam<\/em> Kadmon<\/em> needs, <\/strong>i.e., MaH<\/em> and Ban<\/em>, and it clothes itself in Atzilut<\/em><\/strong> through Erich<\/em> in order to connect it to Adam<\/em> Kadmon<\/em> and to sustain and govern it <\/strong>(Petach<\/em> 74).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Partzuf<\/em> of Attik<\/em> is comprised of MaH<\/em> and BaN<\/em>, which are its \u201cmale\u201d and \u201cfemale\u201d aspects. <\/strong>But they literally function as a single entity and as one body, such that it is impossible to assign each a <\/strong>separate and independent place, and to call this one \u201cright\u201d and the other one \u201cleft\u201d <\/strong>which one could in regard to Erich<\/em>. Rather, they are literally joined together as a single entity comprised of one body <\/strong>(Petach<\/em> 75).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another thing unique to Attik<\/em> is the fact that the phenomenon of a \u201creverse side\u201d, where the lights are darkened and don\u2019t irradiate <\/strong>which is found in all other Partzufim<\/em>, isn\u2019t found in Attik<\/em>. For Attik<\/em> manifests a \u201cface\u201d on each side.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Its aspect of a \u201creverse side\u201d <\/strong>suchasitis, is subsumed under the aspect of the \u201cface\u201d <\/strong>there that governs. It\u2019s just that there\u2019s a \u201cface\u201d when it comes to MaH<\/em> and a \u201cface\u201d when it comes to BaN<\/em>, and that BaN<\/em>\u2019s \u201cface\u201d is considered MaH<\/em>\u2019s \u201creverse side\u201d <\/strong>relatively speaking (Petach<\/em> 76).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The connection<\/strong>, i.e., the conjunction, of these \u201cmale\u201d and \u201cfemale\u201d aspects <\/strong>ofAttik<\/em> is literally like two powers joined together within a single body <\/strong>(Petach<\/em> 77).<\/strong><\/p>\n
