There are three \u201cdays of judgment\u201d in fact: Rosh Hashanah, when you\u2019re judged for the year to come; the day of your death, when you\u2019re judged for the afterlife; and finally, when you\u2019re to be judged for eternity [1] (which is why it\u2019s termed the \u201cGreat\u201d or ultimate Day of Judgment).<\/p>\n
The Great Day of Judgment will occur after the resurrection of the dead [2], it will take place in Emek<\/em> Yehosaphat<\/em> [3], and it will be a \u201cdark and stunning day — a fearsome and frightening\u201d [4] and \u201chorrific\u201d [5] day.<\/p>\n It\u2019s generally held that everyone\u2019s right to resurrected in fact will be judged then, as well as the ultimate fate of each one\u2019s body and soul [6].
