{"id":1961,"date":"2014-12-21T10:12:57","date_gmt":"2014-12-21T15:12:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ramchal.wordpress.com\/?p=1961"},"modified":"2014-12-21T10:12:57","modified_gmt":"2014-12-21T15:12:57","slug":"two-agendas-2-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rabbiyaakovfeldman.aishdas.org\/ramchal\/2014\/12\/21\/two-agendas-2-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Two Agendas (2)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So we\u2019re told that <strong>this \u201croot\u201d <\/strong>&#8212; i.e., the root and essential interactions of <em>MaH<\/em> and <em>Ban<\/em> &#8212; <strong>cannot be revealed<\/strong> [1]<strong>. <\/strong>That\u2019s because it\u2019s rooted in God\u2019s \u201chidden agenda\u201d [2]. <strong>In fact, <\/strong>Divine <strong>governance is entirety dependent on its being concealed, for <\/strong>when it\u2019s concealed<strong> people engage in their affairs out of free will while God carries out His <\/strong>own <em>hidden<\/em><strong> agenda <\/strong>in the background which is based on His foreknowledge<strong>. As such, it\u2019s the concealment itself that allows for <\/strong>free actions which could be wrong and for eventual <strong><em>Tikkun<\/em><\/strong> and correction<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Accordingly, there is <\/strong>on one hand<strong> the <\/strong>overt <strong>order that God Himself displays that involves the order of <em>Atzilut<\/em><\/strong> <strong>with its various <em>Partzufim<\/em><\/strong> &#8212; <em>Erich<\/em>, <em>Abbah<\/em>, <em>Imma<\/em>, <em>Zeir<\/em> <em>Anpin<\/em>, and <em>Nukveh<\/em>, which are all rooted in free will, right and wrong and the like<strong> &#8212; while <\/strong>on the other hand<strong> there\u2019s the concealed root that\u2019s based on the fact that <em>MaH<\/em> is conjoined with <em>BaN<\/em>, which is covert <\/strong>and rooted in Divine foreknowledge [3]<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We now have a deeper understanding of Ramchal\u2019s viewpoint on free will versus foreknowledge.
