The final Petach<\/em> of this section (84) goes on to depict the fact that the MaH<\/em> and BaN<\/em> elements of the Partzufim<\/em> have a hidden aspect even though they\u2019re all the same outwardly. What it says (taking Ramchal\u2019s own comments here into account) is this.<\/p>\n

Aside from being the hidden source of Atzilut<\/em>, the conjunction of MaH<\/em> and BaN<\/em> is also involved in the very construction of Atzilut\u2019s Partzufim<\/em>. As such, that conjunction affects the Partzufim<\/em> themselves as well as how they govern by adding various qualities to them — qualities that are nonetheless hidden. Thus, there are two aspects of the actions of the Partzufim<\/em>: the MaH<\/em> and BaN<\/em> aspect which is hidden, and the actions of Atzilut<\/em> in its entirety which is revealed.<\/p>\n

The Petach<\/em> itself reads as follows: The fact that MaH<\/em> was conjoined with BaN<\/em> <\/strong>in the various Partzufim<\/em> by means of the selections that were made <\/strong>as mentioned in Petach<\/em> 83 was certainly not for no reason<\/strong>. On the contrary, it gave the Partzufim<\/em> <\/strong>themselves important qualities <\/strong>and roles. It\u2019s just that those qualities are hidden within them. What\u2018s visible<\/strong> though is only what was produced after<\/em> the selections. And<\/strong> the order in which the Partzufim<\/em> were placed in order to function<\/strong> and govern depends on the form they all have in common.<\/strong><\/p>\n
