We now begin Section Four which is entitled \u201cThe Essential Elements of Sephirot<\/em> and their Governance\u201d and is comprised of Petachim<\/em> 14-17.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll present each Petach<\/em> in translation along with a layout of the themes that Ramchal raises in his own comments there that aren\u2019t explicit in the wording of the Petach<\/em> itself.<\/p>\n

The first principal <\/strong>(to consider) regarding the <\/strong>(system of) governance that the Emanator instituted which is the structure of the Sephirot<\/em> is <\/strong>(a consideration of) the makeup of the structure and its gradations, the makeup of the gradations themselves, and the makeup of their parts, properties, and interactions. <\/strong><\/p>\n

For He knew just what was needed, no less and no more, to bring about the full system of governance that would achieve His goal for creation, which is <\/strong>(the implementation of) perfect benevolence.<\/strong><\/p>\n
