While the Yom<\/em> Tov<\/em> season had been fulsome and vivid, the world beckons and we respond. Let\u2019s review what we\u2019ve done so far in this section, which is the beginning of the heart of Kabbalah.<\/p>\n

We started our sequential analysis with a discussion of God unto Himself — before creation. Then we offered an explanation of Tzimtzum<\/em> as Ari depicted it (along with a couple of theories of its origin), and Ramchal\u2019s explication of it. That lead to a discussion of the makeup, source and role of rah<\/em> (evil, injustice, ungodliness).<\/p>\n

We then moved along to the next stage with a discussion of the \u201ctrace\u201d of Godliness left behind after the Tzimtzum<\/em> process, which serves as the root of all that\u2019s to follow. Then we began to discuss the \u201cline\u201d (or filament of God\u2019s light) that extends downward to the physical universe. We\u2019ll continue with the \u201cline\u201d next time.<\/p>\n
