{"id":963,"date":"2011-12-08T11:35:25","date_gmt":"2011-12-08T16:35:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ramchal.wordpress.com\/?p=963"},"modified":"2011-12-08T11:35:25","modified_gmt":"2011-12-08T16:35:25","slug":"section-seven-over-all","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rabbiyaakovfeldman.aishdas.org\/ramchal\/2011\/12\/08\/section-seven-over-all\/","title":{"rendered":"Section Seven Over-all"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Though we\u2019d spoken of it earlier in broad terms (see 2:5, and 3:1-2) we\u2019ll now delve into <em>Adam Kadmon<\/em>\u2019s particulars in this section.<\/p>\n<p>Ramchal terms it <strong>t<\/strong><strong>he<\/strong><strong> first order \u2026 to be established in the mystical configuration of ten <em>Sephirot<\/em> and to be arranged in the likeness of a human <\/strong>(<em>Petach<\/em> 31)<strong>. <\/strong>As such, it is the very first layer of phenomena to overlay the line in the trace-environment that will eventually lead to the formation of our own world and reality, as Ramchal will point out below.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll see what sets it apart from the orders that followed it. Ramchal also speaks there of the fact that <em>Adam Kadmon<\/em> <strong>always and forever follows the sequence of <\/strong>God\u2019s four-lettered name, which itself functions of various levels which we\u2019ll explore.<\/p>\n<p>He then addresses <em>Adam Kadmon<\/em>\u2019s \u201cface\u201d, its \u201cbody\u201d, its \u201csenses\u201d, the four worlds that <strong>irradiate outward <\/strong>of <em>Adam Kadmon<\/em>\u2019s inner being, and of its more-esoteric-yet \u201cforehead\u201d<strong> <\/strong>(<em>Petach<\/em> 32)<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>From there we go to a discussion of the four numerical variations of the Tetragrammaton known as<strong>\u00a0\u201c<em>AV<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>SaG<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>MaH<\/em>\u201d and \u201c<em>BaN<\/em>\u201d <\/strong>which <strong>are <\/strong>first <strong>revealed through <em>Adam<\/em> <em>Kadmon <\/em><\/strong>(<em>Petach<\/em> 33)<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ramchal depicts <strong><em>AV<\/em> <\/strong>as sending<strong> forth its light by way of the \u201chairs\u201d of <\/strong>Adam Kadmon\u2019s<strong> \u201chead\u201d, <\/strong>as well as Adam Kadmon\u2019s \u201c<strong>brain<\/strong>\u201d, though on a decidedly esoteric level; and he offers that <strong><em>SaG<\/em> reveals the lights that are concealed in <em>AV<\/em> <\/strong>and that it <strong>becomes revealed little by little. <\/strong>He goes on from there to addressing the <strong>\u201cinner\u201d and \u201cencompassing\u201d lights <\/strong>which eventually <strong>reach <\/strong><em>Adam Kadmon<\/em>\u2019s<strong> \u201cmouth\u201d<\/strong>, as well as <strong><em>MaH<\/em> and <em>BaN <\/em>that are to be revealed afterwards <\/strong>by means of the lights of <em>Adam<\/em> <em>Kadmon\u2019s<\/em> \u201cforehead\u201d and \u201ceyes\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The next <em>Petach<\/em> (34) delves into <strong>the \u201cpassageways\u201d <\/strong>(i.e., the \u201cears\u201d, \u201cnose\u201d, \u201cmouth\u201d, and \u201ceyes\u201d within <em>Adam<\/em> <em>Kadmon\u2019s<\/em> \u201cface\u201d) <strong>through which the lights pass<\/strong>,<strong> <\/strong>and their relationship to \u201c<em>AV<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>SaG<\/em>\u201d, \u201c<em>MaH<\/em>\u201d and \u201c<em>BaN<\/em><strong>\u201d<\/strong>.<strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>And the final <em>Petach<\/em> of this section (35) points to the fact that <strong>it<\/strong><strong> was in <em>Adam<\/em> <em>Kadmon<\/em> where the conjunction of the line with the trace \u2026 came about <\/strong>which we referred to above.
