A Partzuf’s “head” is always the beginning of its governance system

Section 18, entitled “The Tikkunim of Erich Anpin“, encompasses Petachim 101-109.

Now that we’re moving down the order of Partzufim to Erich Anpin itself he’ll be offering “a detailed explanation of the form of the Partzufim” overall, “starting with a general rule” as Ramchal offers in his comments here. This Petach also begins a description of the structure of the Partzufim, and of how they function, beginning with their “heads”.

Petach 101 thus begins with the statement that a Partzuf‘s “head” is always the beginning of its governance system. In fact, Ramchal remarks in his own comments here, that “the ‘head’ itself includes everything in the entire Partzuf – albeit in the form of a beginning” — a source or embryo of everything below it. Still-and-all, “the head’s function is (only actually) completed by the rest of the Partzuf” [1]. That’s analogous to the way our actions always begin in our thoughts, but they only come to fruition through those actions.

The “head” is only complete when it contains a “crown” (Keter) and “brains” (Chochma and Binah). Ramchal makes the point that there have to be those two aspects in order for a Partzuf to govern: an overarching Keter as well as and distinct from the rest of the “head”.

And that only comes about by means of the mystical notion of the entity above dwelling upon the other one below it [2]. Thus, the superior power Keter governs the lower ones.

The Partzuf‘s three “brains” i.e., Keter, Chochma and Binah are all included in its “head”. And it’s there i.e., in the “head”, where the gist of the birth i.e., the beginning of the Partzuf‘s governance system takes place. And that governance extends through the Partzuf’s Chessed, Gevurah, Tipheret, Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malchut.

According to the way things flow downward, the NetzachHodYesod configuration of each higher Partzuf becomes the “brains” of the Partzuf below it. But the way Partzufim engarb within each other follows a different course.

The “beard” manifests each Partzuf’s abilities. Thus, it’s through the “beard” that Erich Anpin’s abilities are made manifest which then subdues judgments, subjugates the husks, and empowers holiness through the mystical notion of the supreme Yichud.

Some of the Tikkunim are meant to allow for the flow of effulgence while others are meant to prepare and rectify the flow itself. But while that’s true in general about the Tikkunim, they’re actually meant to explain the Tikkunim of the “beard”,

The issue of the governance of justice is fully dependant on the interplay of the triad of ChessedDinRachamim and its recipient, because the system of reward and punishment depends on it.

The root of all this is located in Erich Anpin‘s three “brains” and in Radlah which is above them and functions as the root of the receiver, which is the Shechina.

Everything about Erich Anpin occurs ultimately to strengthen kindness and mitigate judgment. In fact, there’s even an aspect of it that will prove to utterly undo judgment — the revelation of “the willful forehead”.

Erich Anpin‘s “Head” implies its “Crown” and “Concealed Chochma“, which are the terms attributed to Erich Anpin’s inherent mode of governance.

The “Seven Tikkunim of the Head” are found there, given that Erich Anpin‘s entire governance system depends on Attik. Thus, Attik‘s seven lower Sephirot rule in Erich Anpin‘s “Head” by means of its various Tikkunim.

They function in broad terms when it comes to the “Skull” but in detail in the case of the “Face” because the “Face” is made to irradiate in detail and all of its irradiations are to be rectified through Attik‘s Tikkunim.

Section 19 — Petach 101

Section 19 of Klach Pitchei Chochma is entitled “The Tikkunim of Erich Anpin” and it’s comprised of Petachim 101-109.

Here is Petach 101.

A Partzuf‘s “head” is always the beginning of its governance system. It’s only complete when it contains a “crown” and “brains” which comes about by means of the mystical indwelling of the Partzuf above coming to dwell within it.

Included in the “head” are the Partzuf‘s three “brains”, which is where the gist of the birth of the Partzuf‘s governance system occurs.
